I would like to share a significant and challenging experience my family has recently faced. On November 8, 2023, I received a concerning phone call from my son’s girlfriend, who informed me that he had been shot and was en route to the emergency room—not knowing what we would be facing.
Upon our arrival, we were informed that we were unable to see our son at that time due to him being in custody. This news left us with many unanswered questions, and we expressed our frustration to the officer on duty. However, because our son is an adult, the authorities were not required to provide us with additional information about the circumstances.
One officer, demonstrating empathy, shared that my son had sustained a gunshot wound to the arm. The bullet had severely damaged both the ulna and radius of his left arm, and he would require multiple surgeries moving forward. He also informed us that he was a suspect in a robbery. My son was facing a charge of aggravated Robbery and Attempted Murder in the second degree. The possible sentence that he was facing was 40 years.
Upon receiving that information, we experienced a profound sense of distress. We found it challenging to grasp the situation, as it felt as though time was moving in slow motion. My son was scheduled to undergo his first surgery the following day; however, by that time, we had not received any information concerning his recovery process. We dedicated three days to seeking legal representation yet were unable to find anyone willing to return our calls, mainly due to the occurrence of a significant holiday.
I received a call from Krizman Law in response to my inquiry. During my conversation with Wyatt Johnson, I shared the limited information I had. Wyatt showed great understanding and empathy for my family's situation, which allowed him to quickly arrange a conversation with Casey. With no hesitation, we agreed to meet both Wyatt and Casey at the hospital where my son is currently receiving treatment. I want to ensure that neither Casey nor Wyatt addressed the potential costs of pursuing this case. Instead, Casey prioritized providing us with updates on my son's recovery. He took the initiative to visit my son's room, where he presented him with his business card and had a brief conversation to reassure him that he would serve as his legal representative.
When Casey came to us to share that he was experiencing pain but was overall doing well, it became clear that Krizman Law would be the ideal choice to represent my son. Their commitment to our situation gave us significant peace of mind, as we could see that they genuinely cared about our challenges. No other firm would have offered the support and service that Krizman Law provided us.
Casey and Wyatt have been invaluable to us since the inception of our journey, providing guidance, support, and a steadfast friendship that we will cherish indefinitely. Their commitment to advocating for my son was commendable, as they approached his case with the same dedication and care as if he were their own. With this case's resolution, we express our sincere gratitude for their unwavering assistance and advocacy.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to KRIZMAN LAW FIRM for their exceptional assistance and advocacy. My family and I are truly indebted to their team. Our experience with this law firm has been overwhelmingly positive, and we feel fortunate to have had their support. For anyone needing legal representation, I highly recommend contacting KRIZMAN LAW. Their commitment to their clients is unparalleled, and they consistently go above and beyond to meet needs.
