I do not recommend this office to anyone.
Secretary called me. Informed me that his rates are based on the felony level, and start at $5k for 'Y'. 3/4 down and due paid prior to hearing. I informed her I am a disabled veteran on a fixed income, she then told me to go with a public defender. I was also disappointed to hear her also tell me that he doesn't argue semantics. Our entire court system and legislation is based in semantics. Look to our 2nd amendment. "Shall not be infringed." What the conversation came down to, in my opinion, was this - that according to the secretary, Mr. Lloyd wants money, colludes with the prosecution, and has no interest in the client. And less interest in those of low income.
Good thing there are other lawyers out there with higher standards of ethics, and that hold closer to the Arkansas Rules of Professional Conduct.
