The steak tartare and trout niçoise were amazing, duck cassoulet and cheese plate were alright. The service though was kind of hilarious. This place thinks they’re some fine dining experience but they’re the trashiest service I’ve had in a while. Our server was actually nice but droned on and on about how amazing and high class their food is which I found extremely tacky. At the end of the dinner a girl came up to us and told us verbatim “Have you paid? No rush but there are people waiting to eat here.” Not very representative of the fine dining experience they pretend to be and I genuinely hope a manager sees this so they can train their staff to behave properly.

Met the chef. Young and inspired and obviously passionate about what he does. 3 courses for under 100$ is amazing in a ski town. Fantastic wine selection. Steak tartare was incredible, caramelized onions under the steak was a great and tasty surprise! Interior and exterior of restaurant was very pretty.

This was our first dining stop of the trip. We ate outside on the porch which was quiet and welcoming. All the food was great and dessert did not disappoint! Creme Brûlée is a must per my mom and I loved the chocolate and cheesecake.

Best restaurant in Telluride! I love the beef bourginon with fresh shaved white truffle and the hazelnut miam dessert. Elegant preparation and amazing flavors. The cocktails were SO good and our server was lovely.

La Marmotte is another one of Telluride's best restaurants. Our overall experience tonight was outstanding all the way around. This place makes you feel like you're dining somewhere in the French Alps. It's a special place and highly recommended if you're looking for a unique meal in the town of Telluride.

Came here for our wedding (elopement) dinner. Researched many other restaurants in the area prior to making a reservation here and couldn’t have been happier with the outcome. They had us seated in the back corner where it was more private and intimate. They even brought us a complementary appetizer which was amazing. The wagyu tartar was awesome and so was the mushroom risotto.

Mark (I believe was his name) helped us reserve the table months in advance and even helped when we called a few weeks prior to make sure we were still good.

Thanks again for capping off a memorable day.

Our recent dinner experience at this restaurant was extremely underwhelming, especially given the exorbitant prices. Despite the establishment’s attempt to present itself as a fine dining venue, the quality of the food and service left much to be desired.

The bone marrow was a glaring issue—completely undercooked, with visible blood that clearly indicated improper preparation. When we raised this with the server, it wasn’t removed from the bill until we specifically requested it, which added to our frustration. Appetizers were decent at best; the steak tartare lacked seasoning and could have benefited from more mustard to bring out its flavor. The duck confit was overpowered by an excess of beans, which overshadowed the dish’s main element.

Service was another major letdown. Our waitress was dismissive and rude, which only highlighted the disorganization that permeated the entire experience. While it’s possible that we visited during a busy time (right after New Year’s), the chaotic atmosphere and lack of attention to detail are unacceptable for a restaurant charging such high prices. For this price point, service should be flawless and the staff much more attentive to guests’ concerns.

The saddest part of the evening was how oblivious the staff seemed to the issues—there was no acknowledgment of how subpar the entire experience felt. This restaurant may aim for sophistication, but it falls short in both food and service. We sincerely hope the other French restaurant in town offers a better alternative.

We ordered the baked bone marrow as an appetizer... very tasty, but a gastrointestinal nightmare. Not sure what the issue may have been.
