I would not recommend Alicia Howard as a divorce attorney. I paid her $2900 for my mom’s case in the fall of 2022. The remainder she said would be collected from my mom’s soon to be ex husband. During the subsequent months very little was done on the case, then she disappeared. She later told my mom that she had lost her husband for which I extend my deepest condolences, however business is business. The case was delayed and now she’s about to remove herself from my mom’s case. All legal jargon and contracts aside, she still put this case in the place it’s in now. Mom told her that she was on a fixed income and couldn’t pay her much and she let so much time go by before asking for additional payments! I no longer can afford to pay on this case. It is now 2025. I truly hate I was Refered to her. She seems like a scam and swindler in my eyes. She knew we expected her to collect the remainder from my mom’s husband. That’s what she promised in her office. This lady is extremely unprofessional!
