As someone who has bad anxiety and is nervous most of the time, I was in good hands with Attorney Lugo, He was very helpful with my case and easy to work with. This was my first ever legal problem and I contacted him right away and he was 100% ready to represent me. He gives reassurance that everything is going to be okay and he kept his word of trying his best and saving me from any issues I came cross with. I would highly recommend Attorney Lugo. From the first phone call I had with him I knew he was the right one for me. I hired Atty Lugo for my son. I spoke to 2 other attorneys before him and both were hesitant to take the case because of it being in Rockville Court. I learned later this courthouse is very difficult and quick to jail. Atty Lugo wasn’t discouraged hearing about Rockville and made me feel at ease as a Mom. I had the unfortunate experience of being charged with driving under the influence of alcohol/ drugs and failure to drive in proper lane by the CT Troop H after a terrifying and horrific accident while on our way to Tewksbury, MA. I’m from Miami Beach, FL. It’s my first time to be charged with DUI and it’s ironic because I don’t drink nor take drugs nor smoke. That made me feel humiliated and indignant. I had to hire a criminal lawyer in CT and I prayed to GOD and to.the Virgin Mary to please help me find the right lawyer that I could trust and would fight for me. And I found that in Atty Angel Lugo. He’s calm but staunch in his approach on my case. He’s been telling me not to worry and that I don’t have to appear in court. He always returns my calls. On our first Face Time communication after he told me of the 15 pages that was sent to him by the trooper that wrote the report , I felt disheartened by it, but he told me to have faith. Fortunately, my breathalyzer results were 0.00%. Two weeks ago, the results of my urine toxicology were sent to me by the State of CT emergency services and it showed “no drugs detected” so I notified him. He told me that he will file a motion to dismiss my case. And on Friday, 2/3/2023, he called me to tell me of the good news that my DUI and failure to drive in proper lane were dismissed. I felt vindicated. I’m grateful to GOD and the Virgin Mary and grateful to Atty Angel Lugo for championing my case.
