I wouldn't say anything to these people unless you want everyone involved in your case to know what you're telling your attorney in confidence. Also, I had a court appearance in a very important guardianship case, and my attorney didn't inform me until two hours before the hearing (which is illegal). Apparently, they went ahead with my case without me even being there.

He did help me out with a couple of things, and that I am thankful for. But he contacted me later, about a lawsuit that he thought I had in my favor, against a certain company, for what they did to me. After I agreed and gathered information for him, he never returned any calls or emails. Anytime I call the office it is an answering machine. Very disappointing, because I had faith in what he could have done.

I would not recommend this attorney. He was quick to cash my check, but not so quick to return my calls. He seemed to care nothing about my case, just my money. Numerous attempts to call his office went unanswered, messages left were not returned. I finally tried to call from another number the call was immediately answered. I can only assume my attorney was purposely avoiding my calls. Due to his lack of communication and failure to work with me to finish my case I had to hire another attorney.

He does the minimal amount of "work" that he can, return communication via phone or email from Mr. Gibson or his secretary is vague, appeasing-feeling, & rare. After being told by his last secretary that mail rarely gets checked, I had sent an important document via certified mail. Because I got the postal updates, I know it arrived at his P.O. Box promptly and sat there for 10 business days! No acknowledgement they recieved it, no explanation of the next steps, just silence! After speaking to several other lawyers from several counties, he his not spoken well of by his colleagues. He eagerly accepted my $, assured me things would be quick & painless, & was good at building unwarranted confidence in his abilities or promises. I wish I paid part up front & the rest when he completed his service bc perhaps that would've been incentive for him to see things through. He has shady methods, no drive or concern for his clients, & I have zero confidence in him.

He seems to really be excited about going to tail. Still waiting for a better deal. But all in all this guy does care about his clients. I go to trial soon so we will see how good he is in the court room with a jury. I will update how the trail goes.
