I was nervous about hiring an attorney for my divorce. From the very first meeting to discuss my situation, I felt comfortable and knew I could trust Ellen to handle my divorce. If someone such as (a soon to be ex-husband) asks for property you owned before marriage, which would be your’s hands down, in the TX court of law, don’t expect Ellen to do anything. In fact, she will look drunk at the only face to face meeting you have, then let her para tell you all about how she didn’t do well in her divorce with Ellen’s help. She knocked it out of the park on family law in her prime years ago. But, now expect nothing but a bill for emails and phone calls about the status about a frozen court and zero follow up. And, that you owe more than a retainer for absolutely nothing. Hired a shark for 50% of the cost and got everything I wanted. Ellen needs to retire. Those are my options.
