I wanted to give big thanks to my team at The Law Offices of Katherine Kraus. I had a difficult divorce going on that eventually made me find help. I'm a father of two daughters that works lots of hours and I wanted a fair 50/50 split. My work schedule makes my situation difficult for that to be possible. But they helped me make it work and more than I can say in the end.

I'm so glad I chose this firm. My attorney Elizabeth Langford and her paralregal Adna along with their whole team. They were amazing in every aspect. The whole firm runs together and smooth to help through the whole situation.

Liz my attorney gave me all the information, support and advice I needed to make this tough situation a lot easier. I was always given all the options. Even if I chose another option than what was the normal due to my situation. She supported me as well as explained all the future outcomes to all the choices I made. I really appreciated that. And if it comes down to wanting to have someone who will fight, not just work hard for you, look no where else. Liz and the whole firm, do not back down and stand up for you. In these situations it's invaluable to have that I found.

I hate to have to make a review, as I hired Katherine 11 years ago to finish my divorce, but it didn't sit with me well. I am having issues again with my son's father and I decided to try her again, as I feel like I don't have it in me this time to represent myself. Heidi scheduled a phone interview for me for 12pm. I call her office back at 12:15 after not receiving a call yet. Katherine finally called me at 12:31pm and had me on speaker phone so I couldn't understand her very well. She seemed like she didn't remember who I was and ran off what things that "I" would have to file, like she didn't really want to help me. After me giving her a rundown of my situation, she tells me that her retainer is $7,000, but she can discount it to $5,000. ? She must be living good because last time I hired her, I paid less than $2,000 I believe. She had someone email me a link to see if I could qualify to make payments through Affirm. I responded by email and asked if she could give me the things that I would need to file for the court in email, and no response. I guess that last email would have cost me too. That's just another level of greed that I don't have time for dealing with a stressful situation.

Kim Staley is a highly unprofessional attorney and lacks the mental capacity to function in area of law. My statement is quantified when as my attorney and while in court she stumbled over questions, lost track of questions, and lacks all ability to effectively vet and verify submitted evidence.

Of course, FB "suggestion" can't be further from the need. Got borded, so I surfed the website.

Now, someone who was at the goal line and reconciled. I can promise this website has many misleading statements. My wife (the only one) and I accumulative spent many thousands of dollars going back and forth. Assets, retirement accounts, investment portfolios, and more; we never dealt with the website descriptions, or it was 10x more complex than what is being described. Especially spousal maintenance. Both parties, in our case, filed, and both parties were granted. The ending circumstances are 100% lifestyle. Child support can be fought and denounced of the court's ruling, Specifically if an agreement is set forth by both parties. Any asset gain from marital wealth is community property,ANY. If a retirement account was at X when married, any gain is community property. If a retirement gained doubles in marriage, then losses all gains and is back to X, the original figure of X now becomes community property.

These misleading statements are unprofessional and a ploy for financial gains for the firm.

Katherine is a wonderful attorney and is supported by a group of fantastic administrative staff. I read very few adverse reviews when I hired her, but I can sort of see how she might not be everyone's cup of tea. She is NOT a 'yes woman' and simply does not tell people what they want to hear. Nobody enjoys having their beliefs challenged. It's not fun to be told that your expectations going into a divorce/custody case are unrealistic. However, I think it's a testament to her character. I would rather hire an attorney who is 100% honest and no nonsense than one who will lead me on & sell me a pipe dream. Katherine is intelligent, compassionate, and understands divorce is difficult. I wholeheartedly recommend her and her entire team!
