I had the dis honors of speaking with a Robin Sparks located at the Islandia office. That had to be rudest,most degrading conversation I have had with what is supposedly a professional lawyer that was recommended based on my current financial situation.I don’t know if this is for people in Lawyer jail or need to prove themselves before they can make actual funds. Possibly the only way a horrible lawyer can keep their license because I can not imagine This woman volunteered to help people with how bossy, pushy and demeaning she speaks as if your to slow and should comprehend the law and know what your doing. If you did you would not need them ☹️ no compassion or understanding for people who are disabled and struggling .I worked for a wonderful law firm for many years and I have never heard anyone at RGLZ speak to any one not the staff, nor clients as if they were dirt, below their shoes. It didn’t matter the background of the person. What matters is your interqrity, and that you try.No less a client in a bad way can be a millionaire tomorrow or know many well off people Robin lol this is sad for you..I hope your day got better or life and for me as I told you I’ll figure something else out as I did. Your apparently not to valued in your own profession.smh

Absolutely USELESS. The legal aid told Me over 5 times That Her name was Kathy Then When I spoke to an office Clerk She told Me That Her Name was actually totally different. I paid $30 to send a fax in which They told Me was blank. So Then I had to mail it expedited and My file sat on Her desk until I called a Day later to remind Her. I felt I was berated during both phone calls. I don’t know Who’s side She was on. It certainly wasn’t mine. What Attorney talks down to a potential client like that? Because It’s “legal aid”? I don’t deserve respect? People come here because They need help and are destitute. No help whatsoever. I would not recommend. Find the money to get a REAL Attorney. These People do not care about You or Your situation.

Charlie Rogers was supposed to represent my case on an unlawful filing where there was no jurisdiction of service, and refused to present that evidence, and met with her supervisor to see if she would be able to present such evidence where cocounsel had directed me, and another connected matter that there was no such jurisdiction but her supervisor then declined her right to represent me in order to do so. I am mediately asked for a receipt of a copy of a letter that I had on hand in anticipation of this failed representation in terminating such representation on my own accord and resending all access to releases, previously signed for Nassuro Suffolk law services, and I was refused a confirmation receipt of such letter being submitted. I had previously met all of the guidelines for representation with no changes of circumstances, and the law was not upheld on my interest, not represented in a matter in which they should have been, and I would caution against using these services when it comes to the need for adequate and full representation. I was been a grist, threatened and intimidated by the staff at Nassau Suffolk law services upon requesting such a receipt where in court officers had to step into my defense, if I could give zero stars on this review I would. Steer clear and get yourself a real attorney.

They pick and choose who they feel like helping. Not that you qualify. Very abrasive, not forthcoming and ignore clients if your not in agreement with their verbiage or their work ethics. I have been black/ blocked from receiving services and communications with this country provided services for people in my situation. If anyone has a suffolk country agency or lawyer you can refer me to , please comment. Looking for help. Thank you.

Wow! How did the 3 women who were giving legal advice at Middle Country Library last night pass the bar exam. All 3 told me it was illegal to record in the public library without people’s consent.
They claimed it was private property, despite the huge letters on the building indicating PUBLIC!! Also claimed that recording them was harassment.
I’m waiting for a call back from their supervisor. I can only imagine how dubious their legal advice has been.

Terrible. Rude. If you do not do things their way and basically make their life easier and more convenient they will find excuses to "not be able to assist you". They are not for the people and are federally paid, so they only take on whatever is convenient for them. They will try to make you apply (depending on your situation) for things that don't apply to you. They will try to get you to admit and do things you don't want to do and have never done. You get what you pay for, which is close to nothing if at all anything with these people.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. They did NOTHING to help my disabled child to receive appropiate education. Per contrast, I feel that after they got involved things got worse as they were not working on my family favor. Stay away from them if possible.

So let me start off with saying avoid speaking to Patricia. The most rudest lady I've ever spoken to in my life. You call for help and advice but get questioned why you did this and that. All I wanted was a helping hand and all I got was her saying you hurt yourself more than helped yourself. Please at all costs avoid these people. I know they're free or cheap but you get what you can afford here.
