As a former guard for these guys

Positive: Pays alright, interesting sites at times, sends out clear, concise schedules weekly, always ensures that at least one supervisor is attentive to the needs of guards. (Sometimes.)

Negative: Will send you into OSHA-noncompliant locations (Open flat field with NO BATHROOMS!), will send you to places multiple towns over KNOWING where you're located, and despite using POLICE 10-codes, most of the dispatch does not know most of them. Oh, and if you're "in" well enough, they'll overlook vandalism on clients' vehicles and picking fights in uniform. (Look for the smiley faces on Pepsi trucks!)

We used Liberty Private Security for our Independence Day Festival and their officers were so professional and proactive. They understood the rules of ABC permits and helps us stay in compliance without having to ask or explain what was needed. They were so much more than the usual rent-a-cop and I highly recommend them for your event.

Worst place to work.
Lowest wage in the industry, and vehicles are in terrible TERRIBLE condition.
If you enjoy breathing in exhaust fumes for an entire 10hr shift and have mentioned it over and over, with nothing done about it, and terrible compensation, work here.
