I was unexpectedly laid off and wanted to better understand the severance agreement I was presented with. My consultation with Rachel Ellis was wonderful. I had a lot of questions which she had answers for. I left feeling confident in my understanding of what I was signing which was well worth the consultation.

I had an initial consultation with Rachel Ellis on 2/8/2023. I was impressed by her office personnel and phone calls prior to my visit. Everyone was polite, professional and friendly. In meeting with Rachel, I was impressed with her knowledge and how quickly she absorbed and understood the details of my situation. Even though Rachel ultimately didn’t take my case, I appreciated her clarity, honesty and candor when explaining the legal issues. I had many questions and she was very helpful with her answers and guidance and also in directing me to other resources.

I would absolutely recommend Rachel to anyone dealing with employment or labor issues. She was great!

I contacted Livelihood Law to review a severance agreement, had a great experience at the initial review (8.29.23), however I was never able to get followup on a few simple but crucial items. I alternated calls and emails for several days before I received a response from their intake team, but still haven't been able to reach the lawyer I met with to close out my case. Overall started out well, and maybe they are just busy at the moment, but I would not recommend if you are on a timeline.

I highly recommend using Livelihood Law LLC for many reasons. Starting with the fact that they are genuinely good people and care about your best interest. If you are contacting an attorney, it is usually not for a very positive reason and Rachel Ellis made me feel at ease when speaking to her during what was a very emotional time. She is understanding and tuned into individual needs. Her ability to review your information and remember the details was impressive and spot on. She delivered above and beyond my expectations. I hope I do not need legal services again, but if I do (or friends do) I will be going straight to Livelihood Law LLC. I have seen some review complaints about attorney fees so let me address this in defense of this team. Attorney's in general are not inexpensive and will all document hours and time spent on your case. Livelihood Law LLC offers different options that should fit into needs of all clients. Don't let an initial consultation fee scare you away from a GREAT firm! Thank you Rachel and team!

I am writing this letter as a recommendation for Livelihood Law Firm. If you are in need of representation in a case involving any employment issue look no further.

Rachel and her firm represented me and stayed with me through a process that took my case from the local level, through the State Appeals Court, then on to the State Supreme Court. It took six years of diligent followup and attention to detail.

I was kept informed throughout the entire process and given sound advise along the way. When I had questions, I received quick, prompt answers and felt that my opinion was being heard and applied.

The victories that Livelihood Law secured for my case at the Colorado State Appeals Court as well as the Colorado Supreme Court is not only a testament to their professionalism and knowledge, but a foundation that may assist you in your case.

I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of employment law services, as an employee, in the state of Colorado.

Keep up the good work, Livelihood Law! And thank you for all of your hard work! I'd give you 10 out of 5 stars if I could. You're fighting the good fight!

I worked with Rachel Ellis through my entire process. She was communicative, very knowledgeable and most important she stood up for me as a woman and as a professional who deserved justice and equality. She always kept my best interest in mind and fought to the end to help me win my case I had no idea was even possible to win. More than winning it was wonderful to connect with an attorney who understood what happened and what I deserved. Her assistant Amber was equally wonderful and always following up right away to any of my questions. Definitely go with Rachel for employment law!
