We first met with Lubin and Meyer barely 2 weeks after my mother died following a routine elective hernia repair. From that point forward, we knew we were in the right hands. From the initial discussions with Deborah Shea, to working with Lynn Hu on our depositions and trial prep, to having Adam Satin and Lynn Hu represent us in trial, we never doubted that Lubin and Meyer would fight for us and my mom. Lynn was our direct point of contact to the firm, and she always prioritized our questions and made sure we had an understanding of what was going on. Adam and Lynn were so incredibly compassionate, empathetic, and thorough throughout the trial. They truly gave my mom a voice in that court room and made sure our story was heard. We cannot recommend Lubin and Meyer more, to any family faced with the unimaginable. We will forever be grateful to Adam and Lynn for what they did for our family, and most importantly, my amazing mom.

This law firm is terrible! I only went with them because all they do is medical malpractice cases, and they say they throw out more cases than other law firms. My wife died from Cardiovascular disease, a natural cause of death that Lubin and Meyer said it wasn't. They had one medical expert read my wife's medical report, and they said the medical expert found a lot of mistakes made by the doctor that caused my wife's death. After 6 months, Robert called me, saying, "The medical doctor for your case is no longer working with us." So Rob took my wife's medical records and showed it to several experts, and they gave the records right back to him saying, "There is NO proof that a doctor caused this woman's death." After Rob failed to find another medical expert to take on the case, he said we need to close this case. They had NO eveidence in the first place, when I met them. They wasted my time, showing my wife's medical records to just one expert, instead of six. If six medical experts read my wife's medical records, and five of them say there is nothing here, but one expert says there is, you go with the five experts and say there is NO case. Instead, Lubin and Meyer hired one expert who's an idiot saying the doctor killed my wife. Why did that medical expert suddenly leave the case? Of course, Rob said it had nothing to do with my wife's ongoing case. I don't believe that. Avoid these people at all cost! They are far from experts.

Update. I was a client 12 years ago. I went to several lawyers that didn't want my wife's medical records because they said Cardiovascular Disease would be impossible to prove in court. Lubin and Meyer took one expert's opinion and when he left, they couldn't find another medical expert that would agree on thier first one because they never had a case. They should have known that and never taken on the case to begin with.

Bill Thompson and Julie Davis from Lubin and Meyer were both extremely professional, kind and empathic. Their experience was reflected in the excellent work they provided and I would highly recommend them.

No one wants to have to contact a medical malpractice attorney, but I am very very glad a family friend pushed me to contact Lubin & Meyer regarding the passing of my mom. This friend advised me right out of the gate that the firm was very specific about the cases they may take, but to reach out to at least inquire because "they are the best." Lubin & Meyer did take the case, and over many years [seriously, they say it's a long process, and that is accurate], I had a great deal of contact with Adam Satin and many of the kind, thorough, and wholly-professional staff. Ultimately, I am more than satisfied and impressed with the work that Adam and the team put in, and while it stings to see an acknowledgement that in fact a mistake WAS made in the death of my mom, at least at the end of the day some sort of justice was served. Big, big thanks to Adam and all of the staff with Lubin & Meyer.

We had a really positive experience with Lubin & Meyer. I really can't say enough about their team. We had a very difficult medical malpractice case that they took on. I had heard about their law firm and they were highly regarded in the legal community. We had huge case files and they walked us through every process. Nick Cappiello who became the lead attorney on the case was very responsive. He talked us through each step of the case. He always reached out or returned calls. He really went above and beyond to get a positive result. He was very down to earth and knew the details of our case so well. We ended up being able to come to a settlement which was favorable for my family. I am so grateful that we chose Lubin & Meyer. I would highly recommend this law firm.

My husband passed unexpectedly at work. I am not going to go into details but I asked Lubin & Meyer to look into it.
They took the case. Mr. Thompson was my lawyer. He and his staff were great. They were very understanding and thorough. I felt comfortable with them.
It took a few years to settle, as is the nature of my case plus COVID delayed things as well. Bill and his staff worked really hard. It is finally over and Bill went above and beyond what I thought.
This is the only review I have ever written.
I would highly recommend them.

My wife and I were going though a rough time due to the loss of our son. We went to Lubin & Meyer with no hope and we were looking for some closure. The firm gave us more than hope. We were met with a lot compassion, professionalism and understanding. Attorney Krysia Syska and her team took our case very personal. We felt like the team was fighting extremely hard to get us justice- and they did give closure in less than 4 years. They even helped me with another personal case that I had for practically free. You will have peace of mind working with Lubin & Meyer.

BEWARE! (Read before this happens to you) 9/29/2022
After losing our mother as a result of medical malpractice, we were advised to seek legal counsel. We heard about Lubin & Meyer from a friend and decided to contact them. After meeting with Ben Novotny, a partner in the firm, and providing him with all the necessary medical records he needed, we were told they were taking our case. The Contingent Agreement was signed on September 11, 2017, five years ago.
The last time we met with Ben Novotny was December 5, 2018. At this meeting he informed us that we will not be hearing from the firm for quite a while, as they will be building the case. He promised us that he would treat our mother's case with great care and we shouldn't worry about anything. Shortly after that meeting, we were informed that Ben left the firm, which was very upsetting as we felt comfortable with him and he seemed to care about our mother. We were told that our new contact person was Karen Zahka, a firm Associate, who I never ended up meeting. September 5, 2019, we received a letter from Andrew Meyer informing us that Karen Zahka has resigned. We were given options of who we could now have represent us. Given that we were with Lubin & Meyer for two years already, we stayed with them and now had our THIRD ATTORNEY, a Partner by the name of Krysia Syska. Needless to say, we now were feeling like our mother's case was just being tossed around and there was no one who cared about her, who was invested in her case.
Over the next couple of years our depositions were taken, and COVID happened, which needless to say, slowed the court system way down.
On November 12, 2021, I received a letter from Krysia Syska stating that a trial date had been set for October 3, 2022. She stated that she will contact me to arrange an appointment for preparation for trial. I called two weeks before the trial date, as instructed by Krysia, and I was told that my siblings and I were going to be scheduled for the preparation for trial appointment as soon as it is decided who would try our mother's case, as Krysia does not try cases any longer. Attorney Syska never reached out to me herself to explain any of this. This was not only unprofessional, but extremely disrespectful. So now, a FOURTH ATTORNEY, William Thompson, who knew absolutely nothing about our mother's case before last week, was who my siblings and I were meeting with on September 28, 2022, to "supposedly" prepare for the trial, which was starting in five days.
PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THIS
Instead of preparing us for the trial that Lubin & Meyer has been building a case on for FIVE YEARS, Mr. Thompson started telling us that we have virtually no chance of winning this case. He stated that there was not enough convincing evidence, but if we wanted to go on with the trial, he would try the case, he was leaving it was up to us. THEY HAD THE EVIDENCE FOR FIVE YEARS!!! They lead us on for FIVE YEARS, never once telling us that there was not enough convincing evidence or that the case was weak. We trusted them with our mother's case. Now, five days before the trial, with, as Mr. Thompson stated, "No settlement offer from the defendant's insurance companies", he was trying to get Lubin & Meyer out of having to try the case. We felt we had no choice but to drop the case as we had no faith or trust left in this firm.
IT WAS SIMPLY ALL A LIE.
WE WERE SCAMMED FOR FIVE YEARS.
LUBIN & MEYER ONLY FOLLOWS THROUGH IF IT'S A SURE THING.

Now it is too late for us to seek the justice and accountability our mother deserves. Our family is sickened by their deceitful actions. We feel as though our mother's life has been disparaged by Lubin & Meyer.
