They don't deserve even 1 star. I cannot believe a business like this can promise so much but deliver so little. The problem when it comes to eviction processing is - if they don't deliver and keep dragging on the process - you - the landlords keep on accumulating loss of rent. The only efficient process is the beginning when they promise you the world to get your money. I gave them $1500 to process a case - filing 3 day notice, etc. They can't produce any proof of paperwork, and can't even communicate an estimate of dates. Keep on saying "it's in the process, we'll let you know when court paper is filed and will give you an invoice on court fees". A month has passed since I gave them the money - and I've yet to see a copy of any 3-day notice. Nobody knows what's going on but just "it's processing, we'll keep it going.".
Eventually - Bill - the owner finally emailed back saying that due to the volume of cases they have - they will NOT provide any doc review to clients. i.e. they will not provide any proof of anything throughout the process. Clients basically just need to sit back, cross their fingers, and hope that something is going on - with no communication on dates or anything but just blind trust. SERIOUSLY?

Time for filing a small-claims to get the money back.

So - guys - please save your money and frustration and look somewhere else. It's an unbelievably irresponsible process, people, and company.

Scam! I paid 800.00 to get legal services for my deceased son. They have returned my calls or responded to my emails in the past 2 years. Live and learn, just don't use this so called service.

Unfortunately it's difficult to find an eviction lawyer otherwise I wouldn't have fired lynx Legal at the start . Extremely poor communication, ignores messages, doesn't read them when they respond, slow to process as well as extremely rude and condescending. They would make promises that they would call the court if there was no response within another week and then I asked for 4 weeks if they had done so and they never answered. That is just one example of how poor their service is. His response when I was getting upset about the lack of communication and how long it was all taking was "don't get excited now" as if he was talking to a lame brained woman that was too excited to be logical or reasonable. And then he started to raise his voice when I said something was already done that he said wasn't but said he wasn't angry even though his volume went up. Clearly he didn't like being challenged and I suspect he may be semi-senile or just an arrogant chauvinist. The legal assistant would send me documents I couldn't open even though I had told them multiple times I couldn't open those kind of documents. And so on. I see their reviews are already poor and I made a mistake choosing them. Surely the only reason they remain in business is a lack of other attorneys who handle evictions. Sad. If you can find any other option I recommend going that route. This should be a zero star although they did execute all the required documents getting it done was a nightmare for me.

This is a big scam they get your $800, then another 200 for the court, then 304 document delivery, 10750 for the Writ, I spent months waiting and the case still not resolved. I should have paid attention to move out and dealing with this company. This is stupid and rip off.

I am ashamed to write that I did not bother looking into the company before we hired them to do an eviction in 2024. Had I looked at Yelp or Google reviews I certainly would have steered clear of them. Paul the intake fella was sort of on it and I initially felt comfortable. But after that small issues began to arise. The 3 day notice that was served was incorrect and had to be redone. This added 5 days to the process. Mind you we are accommodating landlords and tried to work with the tenant and were already owed about 2 months of rent. So any delays really start to compound the issue. So then there are delays in getting the papers filed in the court. Then after they were processed by the court Lynx sat on them for 10 days before attempting a service. When we tried to call to schedule a meeting no one will call you back at the prescribed time. Then when we finally got someone they went though canned remarks we know and cant provide us any information on our case and the lady with the raspy voice just hung up on us. We attempted to call back and no one answers the phone. We selected them based on cost but do yourself a huge favor and I know it is a tough situation because you are already out money.. hire a proper firm with better reviews. It may even be better to hire a real lawyer because they have professional standards they have to maintain. They certainly will not hang up on you when you re just asking questions.

Also - they appear to not disclose all the fees upfront that they will charge and as I was a novice at this and did not understand the process I had no idea what I was supposed to look for.

Just use someone else. Dont make my mistake. they are not a good company to do business with.. Our case is still not resolved and the tenant is 4 months in a rears.

this is the worst experience I've had evicting anyone. have been a landlord for over 20 years always used lawyers recommended by apartment association; i saw this cheaper way. WHAT A NIGHTMARE AND A WASTE OF MONEY. it has now been over a year and they keep on dragging the eviction. finally i had to get another eviction service to take care of the eviction. have lost thousands in rent for over a year; they are not willing to help at all to resolve the issue. good luck trying to get updates from them.
my advice DONT EVER USE THEM. they are the worst service.

Don’t waste your time and money on these people. Even pay your tenant thousands to move and don’t trust them. I have had 3 cases with them . The first 2 took so long that the tenant felt sorry for me and move ou by herself. This last one started Nov 2023 now they just got to the judgement (May 8 2024) over 6 months. They have not yet entered the sheriff part yet. They never inform you of where they are. Never call you back. The one operator picking up the phone , knows nothing about the case can do nothing about the case. Just replies, I let you know. And does not call. They take your money in full by credit card instantly. Then you are not allowed ever to talk to the one who got your money and made promises . He says don’t call my extension “I am the intake from now on go to the other extension. I have a lot to say but just skip this business.

Please take your time to read this review. I lost $1,398 (two $699) to give you this review. I previously thought it might be okay to use this legal service for two of my evictions as they are cheap. Now I got a big lesson. They did everything wrong. Wasted my time and money. Not to mention how much frustration I got. They sent out 30 days notice when a lease agreement had not expired. They sent out 60 days notice without language of withdrawal from rental market. I found a real lawyer who picked up all the mistakes they did. We ended up needing to redo the notices. The contact person Paul. He was responsive only before you sent him your hard earned money. Then he was gone.

When I lose trust in them and asked for partial refund as they just sent out the notices. They refused to admit their mistakes and blamed on me or pointed finger on the other lawyer I found and said the lawyer was wrong. That's too ugly and unreasonable. And they said they had the policy of no refund.

Finally, with $1,398, I bought two useless notices and much frustrations.
