Applied for assistance. After not hearing back anything after several days, I reached out to the office that recommended MVLS. Later that day I received an email saying they could not help. Their reason did not make sense. Based on other reviews I now see why. I wonder where all the donated funds are going to if they aren’t helping the community?

This ā€œcompanyā€ is a PONZI SCHEME… MVLS is setup to receive funding from the state or investors & donations and say they are providing legal services but yet don’t provide for anyone they waste your time having you take to an intake coordinator stating they need additional information then once you provide everything asked for they will send you a letter in a week or two stating they cannot assist you for some made up reason…..they don’t accept anyone’s case I talked to numerous people who have applied for services and all of them denied when they all met requirements listed….i WILL be contacting the MD INSPECTOR GENERAL regarding MVLS

word of advice don’t waste your time even applying and giving out your personal private information…I will be opening a case with the inspector generals office TODAY.. ON EVERYONES BEHALF

I advise that you don’t use this company for any services! I submitted paperwork almost two months ago. I spoke with a lady three different times and at this point I’m being told anything. She told me I would hear something in a week over three weeks ago. Today she said she’ll look at them and get back to me today. When I first spoke with her she said it was under review, but today she said she has to review them?! Now I have to reach out to the BBB about this company. They collect people personal information and say they’ll help when they do nothing. Don’t do business with this company!! I’m going with a more professional company that has no problem with communicating with their clients!!

The intake coordinator needs to be more professional, this is not the treatment anyone should receive when dealing with significant life changes. The website states that they do not give legal advice, but she is acting as a stop-gap between potential clients and the services offered. She was insulting and unpleasant to speak with, which led to me ending the call. I called back, hoping to get someone else, only to be met with her rude, unpleasant tone again, to which she hung up on me. My call directly to the Director will hopefully cause this young lady to humble herself and act as if she's in a role of service versus unbalanced power and authority.

Been trying to get a lawyer for a custody case. Lawyers do not contact or update. I had to basically be my own lawyer, and call back to Mvls to see status as I still needed a lawyer and they said because my case was closed they couldn’t assist even tho I applied for services when case was open. Representative was rude and dismissive to my concerns and got me banned for receiving future services due to my dissatisfaction with the unprofessional service I was given. Literally would give a ZERO if I could, MVLS was a terrible experience for me. As a potential client or customer I have never been treated so rude and unwanted by a company.

I am a patient, kind and understanding person. I just expect professionalism and respect in return. The main reason things didn't work out is because my paralegal did not communicate with me in a timely manner. If she did, I'm sure even if my case took months to complete, I would have had NO problems at all. But one thing that is hard to deal with is when you are treated like you don't matter.

Many years ago, I had my sons last name changed. MVLS did a fantastic job and it didn't cost me anything. They were very professional and got everything finished quickly! Thank you so, so much!

I went on-line to fill out the intake form. I contacted M V LS to find out the status of my information i submitted. I received a letter in the mail telling me now my case was out the scope of their program. I called the executive director Susan Francis to find out why my case was out the scope of their program. She never called me back.Their website need to tell what kind of legal issues they do not handle, bedsides letting people wait pass 30 days to find out their issue is out the scope of their program. The people that works at M V LS is unprofessional.
