Highly do not recommend unless you have in-depth knowledge of the court system and are capable of knowing what to file and when to file with out direction, which at that point why do you even need a lawyer? She has very little communication skills and wasn't capable of wording things in a way that helped me understand the court process and what’s expected of me. She showed up late multiple times and on one occasion was over 30 minutes late for a hearing because she “forgot”, which was incredibly embarrassing. She never prepared me for hearing and often left me in the dark.On multiple occasions she would call me the day things were due and say “your evidence is due today by 5pm” leaving me no time to prepare. When I would ask for clarity she would make me feel like a child that wasn’t understanding ABCs making me incredibly anxious throughout the entire process. I kept tons of evidence but she never wanted anything to do with it and I wasn’t sure how to organize and file it myself. Honestly felt like she was more on my ex husbands side than my side which was very disheartening.

However she is also an attorney for my mothers friend who has nothing but great things to say about her so my experience was shocking due to the high recommendation. I think my case was just to complicated and she didn’t care enough. Huge waste of money that just prolonged the process for me and my children.
