I have had the pleasure of teaching trial advocacy with Andre Pennington all over the globe as part of our duty in the military. Contacted this law office to help with sorting through my late father’s estate in Arizona as I live out of state. Was unable to actually speak to a lawyer regarding my case (1st red flag). Stated they could help coordinate securing his assets since I live out of state, however was not willing to work with me until they saw my father’s trust information (2nd red flag). Once they received a copy of this, they basically said they couldn’t help me with coordinating his assets, but if I wanted to retain them it would be their flat fee of $6500 (3rd red flag)… for what? You just told me you couldn’t help with anything. Would not waste your time! I’ve talked to other estate lawyers with WAY more experience for 1/3 of the cost for a retainer. In my opinion they did not want to take my case and gave me a ridiculous high retainer to make me go away. Shame on you.. as if dealing with my father’s death wasn’t hard enough as well as handling his affairs half way across the US. My husband is also a part of the US Military and a minority and we thought it was so neat to find a lawyer with the same credentials that we wanted to select him for our legal representation and unfortunately my father’s case wasn’t apparently was not worth their time to pursue.

Since the start of the Probate of my mother's estate, Karrie Rubke, Para-Legal for Pennington Law Offices, has proven herself to be indispensable, extremely knowledgeable and very professional. Karrie answers my questions and concerns in a timely manner, if she does not know the answer, she asks one of the attorneys and gets me an answer as quickly as possible. Karrie’s assistance during these trying times has been exceptional, making these times and this probate less stressful.
