Now that all the literal dust has settled, I can truly take the time to write this well deserved positive review for Samuel and Steven at Pure Motive Realty. After all we went through together, they aren't just our trusted realtors, they are happily considered like a part of the family
In dire straits, and needing desperate help when ordered to sell my Mother-In-Law's home by Probate, PM Realty's flyer thankfully caught my attention. You know when you just get that feeling that something was meant to be? Well, something told me there was true sincerity behind the promises being offered by PMR. We took the chance on them, and our gamble paid off in the end.
Anything that could go wrong in this sale did. Unfavorable home inspection reports needing lots of costly renovations, the sudden death of my husband (the Executor of his Mom's Estate) causing last minute legal panic to avoid a foreclosure sale, and simply being unable to physically and mentally cope with the unfortunate situation we found ourselves in became too much to bear at times. Not only did Samuel and Steven work their magic on even finding a buyer for our La Verne home, but they went well above and beyond what I ever, ever expected... Even if that was just an ear to vent to or a shoulder to cry on.
They were the voice of reason in the chaos, always reassuring us that they would never give up on achieving the best result for our family's present and future situation. What realtors that you know would offer to roll up their sleeves and physically help us clear out 60 plus years of overwhelming stuff from a 4 bedroom 1700sq ft home? And on their day off? I had offers from well meaning family and friends to help move, but promising and showing up are two separate things.
Always positive, caring, compassionate, patient, honest, genuinely concerned, attentive to whatever needs arise, and well versed in the housing market, these gentlemen are true to their company name. You will definitely feel they have your best interests at heart, no matter your scenario.
Sometimes, things don't go at all like we planned, but have faith that with Pure Motive Realty, Samuel and Steve have got your back.

We received a flyer from PureMotive Realty. Called and got information from Steven regarding several options. He was extremely prompt to set us up with an appointment the next day and had Samuel come to our home. Samuel throughly went over each option that was available to us regarding our questions to sell or to do a modification with our current servicer. He was extremely detailed and connected us with his experts. In the future if we decide to sell we will go with them because of their transparency and willingness to help us. I came across PureMotive Realty through a mail advertisement in the mail. I Decided to google their company and saw they had an A in the BBB. I decide to call them to help me with my property being in foreclosure. Steven and Sam scheduled an appointment to meet with me right away. He gave me various options to save my property and also explained the scenarios for each one. Steven recommended for me to apply for the CA Mortgage Relief program and also to apply for a mortgage assistance with my lender. He followed up with me once a week and gave me update on everything. If your reading this your most likely in the same situation, hopefully your just wanting a new home not facing foreclosure.
Imagine living in your home for 28 years, and over that 28 years you've had health problems and became permanently disabled, not to mention your spouse. Also, is now permanently disabled, and your now on a fixed income and having a hard time making it paycheck to paycheck. Then life happens and a second loan pops up that you didn't know about. Your facing foreclosure with no where to turn, no money, and don't want to burden your family with your problems.
You become depressed while trying to understand how this happened, your dealing with RUDE bill collectors who threaten you, laugh at you, while refusing to work with the situation ar hand.
You begin to pray to God will help relieve the pressure, this is when we received a letter from Pure Motive, saying they can help, please give them a call. But you skeptical because you had already call another realtor who said the same thing, only to drop the ball when time is of essence.
But you need help and you make the call even though your skeptical it will end the same way as before
After a brief conversation with Steven at pure motive he did something different, he asked if he and his partner Samuel could come by and talk to us and make a plan of action with us. We agreed to have them visit still not sure their going to help.
During there visit we worked out a plan of what they would do for us and how the process would work, not to stress that they will take care of us and the problem, not to talk to the creditor, to refer them to Pure Motive. They told us it was there job to help us sell the home, and find us a new place to live and not to worry about living in the streets.
Fast forward 6 to 8 months.
We sold the home, and they even helped us move things that were put in the rafters 28 years earlier that we were not able to take down.
1: They stopped the creditor.
2: They sold our home.
3: We now live where we would always retire.
4: We just signed papers on new home and currently waiting for our New home to built.
We are now in a better place then when we were before all this happened.
I thank God for sending us, Steven, Samuel, and there team. And I thank Steven, Samuel, for doing what they said they would do.
We highly recommend PureMotive to everyone who is facing similar problems or just buying a new home.
