We booked a double queen bed room during Labor day weekend. We were coming into town late and they bumped our room to a single bed. We made it work for the 4 of us my 16 year old daughter had to sleep on the floor. The next morning I asked the front desk if we could have our double bed room now seeing there was an open one being cleaned across the hall. I was rudely talked too. The man behind the counter said there were reservations and no. I informed him that we had a reservation for a double bed room he looked it up and then still said no. So I asked him to reimburse the money difference. He stated it's only a 4 dollar difference a night. I said ok that's 8 dollars which is a couple of gallons of milk for my baby or gas. He shook his head and walked away slamming the office door behind him. I will say the maintenance man and cleaning lady are amazing people though. The maintenance man came to my room apologizing for the man's behavior. Also tried to see where he could help and then the cleaning lady came up being kind as well and understood being she had a toddler as well.

We weren't looking for luxury. We had been on the road all day and just needed a place to spend the night, but honestly, this is the grossest hotel I've ever stayed in. On the negative, the hotel itself and the rooms are filthy. They don't appear to own a vacuum. When we checked in they were in the process of cleaning our room and were sweeping rather than vacuuming which left considerable hair, dust, and debris behind. There was no available outlet for a phone charger; the area to hang clothing had exactly one hanger; the coffee maker did not work; there was only one cup provided, presumably for both water and coffee; the bath towels were stained and threadbare. On the positive, the staff is very friendly and personable. It is considerably less expensive than nearby hotels.
I would not stay here again.

If I could rate this hotel at a 0 stars, I absolutely would. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE SMALL CHILDREN!!! We are a family with two small boys and the room was absolutely filthy and unsafe. Initially, walked to check in and their systems were down so everything was manually done, was charged a $30 “hold” ( but they actually charge you right there). The “hold” is for any damages or stolen things during your stay, which makes my laugh because the room was ATROCIOUS and FILTHY! We walk in and the room’s window is open with a slit screen letting bugs fly into the room, NONE of the surfaces were wiped down, things splatted on the walls, the bathroom was full of hair and dirt, the floors were sticky and my boys were walking around in socks and the bottoms were black. You can tell that no one cleaned it, not even touched! We were so disgusted that we didn’t even sleep in the bed sheets , thank God I had two blankets in my car and we all slept with one on top of all the covers. Next, the rooms and location are not safe! There are three locks on the door where only 1 of them barely lock, someone could bust in easily. And finally, early the next morning I hear banging and a woman and man arguing outside our door. Suddenly, there’s banging and the woman cries out for help and luckily someone rushes to her aid and the police come and the problem is resolved, but then I hear a man talking saying, “ I should’ve grabbed my gun and just started shooting!” THAT CONCERNS ME AND THE SAFETY OF MY CHILDREN. ) we did not see this in action, we were woken up by all of this commotion, however I think the woman is fine and they got it resolved. In the end, please do not stay here…it was my first and LAST time I will ever be staying here. ( I wish I took more pictures of the filth)

DO NOT GO THERE. It’s disgusting. We were only staying one night and were already settled in when I realized how dirty it was. Hairs in the bathtub, floors not mopped and sticky. Pillows were so small and useless. Staff was rude. My husband had booked it and put in the wrong dates so when we got there the guy charged us an extra $56 totally $134, and it was the worst hotel I’ve been in.

AVOID STAYING HERE AT ALL COSTS!!!! UPDATE!

Update- 3 days after they took our credit card info for damage deposit the cc they took was used for fraudulent charges and had to be cancelled. They also declined the refund to the card. Please look over the reviews and keep your family far from this place.

We stayed here 10 years ago so I booked it without thinking twice about checking for reviews. We checked in and had homeless people and random men walking all around. Did not feel safe for myself or my kids. Checked in so we could get to our room and lock the door. There was no lock on the door, our sheets (the one bed that had them) were brown and stained. White crusty stuff all over the dressers, black on the walls, tub had a black ring around it and there was something nasty smeared on the walls. I was not staying there and would have stayed in my car or drove another hour or more to avoid this place. I was in the room for less than 5 min before letting the front know we needed a refund and would not be staying. They told us they could not do a refund without management involved. Needless to say I did not get a refund and paid for another room at a much cleaner and safer hotel. They said they wont do a refund outside of the 24 hour cancellation policy. Fine keep your policy and your money, I will gladly avoid getting bed bugs or mugged at a place like this. In addition two days later the card that the clerk used to hold a damage deposit (not sure what else could possibly be damaged in this place) has now been hacked and was used at a CVS located right by the hotel. Call it a chance but seems to be a little sketchy and overall a place that I hope anyone that reads this review can avoid. I sure wish I had. A place like this is unsanitary and should be closed/ demolished. I have also filed a complaint to the health department in hopes that other families do not have to experience what we had to.

It’s a shame because eve hotel / motel isn’t really that bad however we found it to be very dirty. Looks like the rooms are not cared for much at all. Dust and bugs on the floor. We had to ask for new towels and sheets and one of the new towels looks like someone checked their oil with it. I would recommend not to stay at this place unless you enjoy staying in a filthy environment.. also wanted to note.. the freaks come out at night.. a bunch of homeless people were hanging out on the swing in front of the front entrance. Not sure why this was permitted? I would definitely avoid D- I suppose you get what you pay for.

Came here for a quick sleep on the way to my destination as it was pouring rain and getting in the mountain curves. First guy checked my in was friendly went to get my stuff and at every exit was a male drinking and smoking definitely did not feel at ease as a female with 2 little ones at 10pm. Got in my room and there was bugs everywhere, residue on the ground walls were nasty, no chain or bolt lock to secure.
Went down to the front and told them the room was not cleaned and showed them the pictures and the guy (different from checking in) said I shouldn't have a problem it was considered clean and if I wanted a new room he could get me a new room. Of course I want a new room because it was not cleaned. The second room was much better but still not that clean but not residue or bugs everywhere.

I was charged a $30 security deposit by Choice Hotels and another by the hotel staff. Contacted Choice, they said it's on the hotel for charging me again. I call bullshit on the hotel staff. They say there's nothing they can do. I stay in hotels 150 nights a year × 5 years and never had this happen.

I am also concerned that my CC may be at risk for hacking as per an earlier review. I will be expecting a receipt showing a release of all funds taken for deposit. So far, it has been a poor experience. I am just glad I have alerts for my banking set as stringent as possible.
