In October of 2020 I bought a major fixer upper home and I hired a contractor to fix my house. 3 weeks in to the work my house was red tagged by the city and the work had to stop. I found out the contractor was working without a permit and what he was doing to my house was not up to the code. My friend recommended Chad Edwards and told me he is a family man and cares about his clients. Unfortunately Chad Edwards only cares for money. I paid him a small fortune and he did nothing for me. He had no expertise in construction law and still continued to push me to trust him and increase his retainer. I feel he had no sense of urgency and does not care about his clients. It seemed to me he did not know anything about the situation and how to handle this case. I had to hire another lawyer to represent my case. I hired him base on referral and it was a huge mistake I made.
