He does this neat thing where he tries the whole scare tactic thing and make wild accusations even after testimony from parties directly involved, but he does this in vain and without charging you a dime , you end up with the very things you sought out for a very simple divorce: he gives your spouse the drama they want for a fee and then at the end of it all common sense prevails anyway!!!

We were in town from out of state attempting to take care of my father-in-law's estate. We ran into snag after snag and only had a limited amount of time to take care of things before needing to head back to our home state; we were extremely frustrated. Since we were basically standing right next to Mr. Scheel's office, on a whim, my husband called and got right through. Mr. Scheel took care of what we needed in a very rapid and timely manner (in my experience this is unheard of for an attorney). We got what we needed done. We can't thank Mr. Scheel enough!

Brought Mr. Scheel a divorce case for review from a horribly vindictive ex. He immediately went to work and started pointing out flaws two others had missed.
Great, down to earth guy.
Highly recommend him if your like the majority needing representation in a blue collar society...
He makes even his consultation's extremely laid back and straight forward.

I would leave fewer stars if possible.
I am not a client of Clint Scheel. I called this office in regards to someone he represents. He claimed he did not represent them. I believe he does because when confronted, this person claims to have spoken directly with Clint and he told them he never spoke to me.
I assumed a miscommunication and called the Scheel Law office again and left two messages directly asking for confirmation to either return my call and confirm your representation or to call your client and correct the misinformation that we did indeed speak .
Clint Scheel has done neither.
SO...ask yourself. Do you want to hire someone who can't take two minutes to make a simple call to confirm to me or a simple call to clarify for his client what has amounted to a very caustic situation? And if there is no clarification needed, do you want to hire someone who is willing to lie in both directions to muddy the waters instead of keeping civility with some simple truths?
This Law Office, Clint Scheel, does not operate with trust.

EDIT: Wow, he took the time to write a response, but not return my phone call and clear up a miscommunication. I will assume then you point blank lied to your client saying we had not spoke and it is doublespeak for you to say "not involved in litigation" Haha! Correctly stated, well within the gray area. I should raise the star level just on your ability to make factual statements without addressing the issue.

Mr. Scheel helped me with my divorce. I like that his fee included filing all paperwork up and until going to court. so if you dont have to go to court, you wouldn't owe anything else. my ex husband was sent the summons and i believe within 4 months or so, the divorce was finalized.
