My company had the dubious honor of undergoing a Software Audit and attempted to go it alone at first with no legal representation. We learned pretty quickly that it was not going to go well. I did some research and found Scott and Scott. I made a call to there office and by the end of the day was on the phone with Rob Scott who impressed me with the timeliness of his call and his grasp of what I was dealing with. With the help of Rob and his team we were able to turn what was going to be hundreds of thousands of dollars of fines into a total of about 10% of that. I would never go it alone again.
