I called Serv Pro after finding the water heater had broken and water was standing in bedroom, closet, laundry room and hallway. They were fast to respond with very professional and courteous technicians. They did a wonderful job drying all of these areas and I am so thankful for this company!

They were very rapidly responsive when first called to help with an A/C water leak and got the two carpeted bedrooms dried out quickly and thoroughly. After that, things got complicated. They found asbestos that had to be dealt with, but I ended up having to act as general contractor once the positive test results came back. They didn’t tell me that the testing company differed from the remediation company. I had to deal directly with the remediation company, driving to Hidalgo County to leave a deposit for the work and overseeing all of the scheduling. The asbestos remediators found mold. Servpro gave me an estimate to deal with the mold, but we found another company who did an excellent, timely job for half the price. My insurance company, USAA, preferred not to work with Servpro of Harlingen, citing extra fees that they charged and I found this to be true when I replaced the carpeting through them. Again, I did all the legwork and scheduling myself and would have saved money if I had dealt directly with the flooring company, rather than going through ServPro. That being said, William Gregory was always professional and pleasant to deal with. With 20/20 hindsight, I should have dealt with ServPro of Brownsville/South Padre Island or ServPro of McAllen, both of which have given me more positive results.

This is Bob and Sandra Tumberlinson. The professionals at HGN-SB ServPro did a job that lived up to the motto on their vehicles, LIKE IT NEVER EVEN HAPPENED!!!. The employees were well trained, courteous and always kept us abreast of every step in the process of cleaning up the heavy smoke that filled our house after our garage fire. We are very pleased with the way they catalogued every item they removed from the house, how they cleaned and kept their promise that the smoke smell would disappear. And they were right.
