Yes, five weeks on an adjustment of status. Even writing that looks so far-fetched. I was surprised to see so many positive reviews for Sidman Law Group, as my experience was quite different. After my consultation with Bernard, I decided not to proceed with them. He questioned why I was starting my O1 process "so early," even though it was just a few months before I needed to begin. Other attorneys I consulted commended my proactive approach.

What really stood out was his condescending demeanor throughout the consultation. He laughed and smiled in a way that made my achievements seem insignificant, even though he acknowledged they were sufficient for an O1 visa. When I inquired about a green card, he dismissed my accomplishments entirely, stating that I had nothing of value at the moment. In contrast, other immigration attorneys I’ve spoken with believe I have a strong case for a green card. He did suggest a few things I could do to strengthen my case, but that didn't help the overall feeling I had of his attitude towards me.

There was no optimism or kindness in our interaction. I felt belittled and disheartened. Despite a trusted friend's recommendation and his many good reviews, my experience was far from positive. He might be great with others and maybe he didn't like me, but he was neither kind nor encouraging to me. I will never go with them.
