This is the first time I looked into a firm to represent my father in a Quiet Title Lawsuit.
Due to the issue being completely foreign to me and my family we put trust in being treated and guided in the right direction. We put down the 5k retainer and began that process.

When we first started a Lawyer (Mrs. Joyner) was great! Very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. She assured me that with all the information and documents of tax forms we provided that this should be a very straightforward case.
Soon some time had passed and no message or communication were coming in.
We then received a message that Mrs. Joyner had left the firm.

So after no communication for some time a new person was appointed. I believe we had one email and a phone call if I’m correct ( so that the new individual could get caught up) and then nothing.

Time passed some more now a third individual has the case. Now two phone calls and email later. I’m being asked if I want to proceed, and being told I have an outstanding balance and would need another 5k retainer for what I apparently have nothing to show for the first 5k.

I feel that I wasted my money and the communication has been terrible and I’m actually scared to get more communication now cause it’s just going to create a bigger balance.

As of the time of writing this review I already messaged that I will not be going forward with this firm and everything here is exactly what has transpired with the handling of my case and I am not over exaggerating on anything.

Late one evening I posted a message on the Silberman website. I was surprised when, approximately 30 minutes later, I received a call from attorney Austin Black. We discussed my question for 20-25 minutes (at no charge). Mr. Black patiently explained the law, and the options available on how I could proceed should I decide to move forward with the suit. I chose not to sue, but I would have felt very comfortable hiring Mr. Black as my attorney based on his knowledge professionalism, decorum, and his presentation.
