We went there for a bowling party and had a great time. Plenty of parking and found that both the casino and alley were smoke free. It was a fun environment for the kids and we had fun in the casino, with the electronic games.
The only issue I found was the lack of table games. As with other Indian casinos they tend to be dominant with electronic games and extremely light on card games, craps and roulette - where they actually have to staff the table with a live person. I wasn’t sure if this was just a post COVID issue and they were in the process of increasing staffing or if this was the normal staffing.

Our experience with the comfort of our stay was great. We came in November, the rooms were cozy and clean, and bathroom came w/ big jacuzzi tub and TV! The pool and hot tub were small for a casino but I enjoyed it as no one was in there at the time I went! Restaurants are great and casino was well maintained.
Neg: The customer service at the front desk and gift shop was outrageous. The manager was cold & unwelcoming at check-in. We asked for water one night and they said they had none. I asked if we could purchase a bottle water and the boy again said they had none & rolled his eyes. I walked to the gift store, a few feet away, to find cold bottled water for sale. The same happened when I asked for swim diapers at the gift shop and the girl said they didn't sell any. I had to leave the hotel to get some at the store, only to find them for sale in their gift shop afterwards!
Our stay would have been amazing if the Hotel would hire friendly, knowledgeable staff.

This review is almost specifically about their New Year's Eve festivities. The theater dinner was very entertaining a little bit more interaction than I thought it would be but it was very good and the meal was good as well picture will be included. The problem necessarily wasn't that they limited us to three drinks maximum it's that it wasn't communicated very clearly and the signs were very vague that you needed to have a wristband to even purchase a drink and there was only one station to get these wristbands it was never mentioned at time of check-in and you couldn't get a wristband down the hall at the event you had to backtrack all the way to security. Once I got past that the banquet staff was amazing efficient and very friendly. security usually never is very friendly. Activities were fun. It did seem like some stations could have used extra personnel. Overall the customer service was just okay and the most lacking of the entire evening. And I've been in the hotel industry for years and a former Disney cast member I know customer service.

My partner drove over to have a fun night after experiencing a horrible night at Ute mountain casino the night before. The difference is night and day improvement. We genuinely enjoyed ourselves at Sky Ute. The staff is amazing, the food is great, the rooms were awesome, the bed was super comfortable and the sheets were great. For us it is most definitely worth the extra hour to treat ourselves to a great time.

Tightest slots in the 4 corners by far. Only place that has never allowed me to leave a winner. Literally. I have won something at every other casino I’ve played at in my life. I keep telling myself to pass this place but like all other gamblers, I think to myself I might have a shot for once 😂😂😂😂😂 also, I never hear of anyone winning jackpots or anything here. Guess it’s best to come for the spa and bowling, gamble at Ute Mountain instead. I win every other time I go.

I did not eat or lodge. (*)But I liked the casino. Clean, spacious, well lit, everything in newer condition, so it seemed. I played for a long time on the slots, with little ventured. While I didn't hit big, I plan on returning and trying my luck again next time I'm in Durango. I would recommend the casino. *UPDATE: So I returned and stayed in the resort. Very nice! It really is a beautiful building, inside and out! The staff were very friendly, polite, and helpful. Nice rooms, comfortable beds and linens, and all amenities worked as they should. Not all of the rooms have a good view, but the room I stayed in had a great view! Breakfast options abound! The weather did not allow for enjoying the grounds or the put put golf. 😕
An added plus is that I had a nice run in the casino! I would recommend this resort stay!

I will give a 3 star as the room was decent, the hospitality crew was very nice. Cons to our stay was I was given a room less than what I reserved, none of my request were accommodated. The staff excluding the hospitality were very rude and mean. The shower didn't work and again the staff was horrible.

This is an absolute hidden gem!! Never saw a kids and pet friendly hotel casino.
Kids has bowling (8-10 dls) and hour per person.
Some arcade games.
Different options for food. And most of them not pricy at all.
Casino well maintained and a lot of machines.....
I wish it was closer to me town.
