I started working with Kara Stein-Conaway in 2012. I was referred to her through my grandma whom had worked successfully with her father Jeff. Kara took on a very serious case for me. I had professional license, so this complicated matters even more. She worked hard and tirelessly to fight for me. I utilized her services again in 2020 . I was facing serious charges again. In that case, there was someone else who was facing the same charges as me, and he was not represented by Kara. Unprofessional and Unavailable

I contacting the firm, spoke to a representative, and scheduled a consultation for the following day at 10:00AM. I received confirmation of the meeting and uploaded sensitive legal documents as requested. At 11:30 AM, after failing to receive a call, I called Stein-Conway Law Firm back and asked if someone was going to be contacting me. I was assured someone would call me shortly. At 4:30 that afternoon I called again and expressed my concern about having trusted the firm enough to upload sensitive information, and firm not being capable of keeping an appointment or at least calling to reschedule. The following day at 11:00 AM I received an email stating that the firm is too busy to represent me. Too busy to keep a scheduled appointment to? That’s just unprofessional. If any of the 300 people who work for me every ask me who I’d recommend for professional legal representation, it won’t be this firm.

All of the charges related to my fraudulent possession of an in-state, CA hunting license.
