Stayed here this summer and it was awesome. Very upbeat kid friendly place. Live music, excellent host. Great shower house and laundry. The owner brings you dry firewood and a delicious welcome goodies. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to travel out there. Great place for young campers to go explore and come back to relax

It was an amazing experience, bathrooms, and showers always cleaned and stocked. Camp ground always cleaned, there were movies on big screen in the common area around campfires. Owner supplied firewood, propane for grills, and a store on the premises that is equipped with things you didn't think you needed until you got there. Fur baby friendly, and the owner was so nice and accommodating. Thank you, Stoner Resort, for a wonderful relaxing time. We will be back.

So happy to have found this hidden gem! Such a wonderful place to stay! I want to tell everyone about it… but keep it our little secret 🤣

Scott is a great camp host and took wonderful care of us from start to finish. Welcome kit, plenty of firewood, and great company. Views and atmosphere are to die for. Looking forward to spending another weekend here soon! Warm showers, bathrooms, and great camp store.

The host Scott is great! This was a good location for us when visiting Mesa Verde. I would have liked a bit more space and privacy. 4 stars bc the spots were close and the reason we left early.

Super nice owners and the campground is right on a creak. Very nicely located close to Deloris Co. The sites are a little small but not bad and the view is outstanding. Great place to put down camp to go see telluride and Ouray. I would highly recommend this campground to anyone.

I can not give enough praise to Scott for the most amazing experience at this awesome campground!!! We felt so totally welcome and enjoyed every day we spent there. He greeted us with an awesome gift bag with the most delicious Banana Bread I have had !! So Thank you very much to Scott’s mom who bakes the bread and also the yummy cookies she deserves some much appreciated credit from all the campers ! Scott also has movies and brings us some great buttery popcorn to enjoy while watching. There was also a live band that played while we sat back in one of the many swings he has set up . Restrooms were so nice and free laundry was such a perk !! This campground is one of a kind and would give it 10 stars if possible !! Will be returning at least once every season. Thank you Scott!! Stoner Rv is #1 on our list !

What a great find this place has been. This is now my second time here and I love it even more. What a great little community!

This place is in the most beautiful setting, and it is very well maintained. Clean restrooms, nice laundry room with free soap and dryer sheets. All the campsites have new barbecues, free propane, fire pits with free wood! Free wood, yes that's right! The RV sites have full hookups and the tent sites even have shore power and water. Scott, the mayor of Stoner Colorado is a great host and generous to a fault. I've been welcomed each time with coffee, snacks, utensils, aluminum foil, banana bread, and a colorful dozen eggs from his chickens here on the property! It was 25 bucks a night for the tent sites last season which I thought was too cheap. And I'm happy to say that it's up to $30 a night this season. Happy I say for Scott who gives so much. Because at $30 a night for all you get. I think it's crazy cheap.

They also have live music out on the lawn area. Several nights when I was here last time and they're going to have music Friday, Saturday, Sunday this memorial Day weekend.

I've always stayed at least a couple days longer than I first intended when I come here. A nice soft place to land for the adventuring soul!

The BEST + cutest campground we have ever stayed at! Our kids had a blast playing in the little stream behind our campsite (complete with hummingbirds and a swing bench for parents to chill). There was also a movie at night with popcorn and s’mores, and outdoor toys available. The community here is fantastic and the owner thinks of everything you could possibly need. You feel like family ☺️. We would go out of our way to stay here again. Stoner Campground is a destination in of itself. Oh, and did I mention the sweetest welcome package (farm fresh eggs, banana bread, cookies, coffee, and a WiFi extender)?!!
