I have known about Swift Attorney Service for 3 decades which is when I started working in the legal field at a small law firm in Redwood City in 1989. Swift Attorney Service has been in business for longer than 3 decades and this is very important if you ask me because civil litigation has so many nuances and you want the agency that is helping you serve papers, prepare legal documents, or do investigative work to know their job and these guys know their job and know it well. I have noticed these guys are top notch. Their work is impeccable. Their staff is professional, and they are easy to access, and you speak with a live person when you call them. In my most recent interaction with Swift, I was blown away at how good these guys really are, this is why I am writing this review. Thank you, Swift Attorney Service! You guys rock!!!

Not only was as helpful as possible about the entire process in NY, he also helped to refer someone in the New York Area to help me with my claim. Note that this wasn't even a case that he's getting paid for!!

It may be premature to write this, because the process service work has just begun. Therefore, I write to say after negotiating the voice prompts, selected 'process service' option; Armando answered the phone. He was clear, put me on hold to get answers to my detailed questions - instead of "winging it", and within an hour of making the call to Swift, the process service was underway. The website is clear and concise setting up the account and payment options. Upload documents and followed up with email to aid the Server identifying and locating the deadbeat owing me money!! Whew, what a relief, and at a price for expedited service (meaning Today!!) just over half of what I expected to pay!! While I will wait to get confirmation hearing "You've been Served!" the steps thus far have indeed been SWIFT!! Armando at Swift Legal took all the stress out of this affair, which prior too I had strong feelings of dread.

Swift Attorney Services has been a great source for our efiling as there are many issues that arise with civil court filings that require special attention by representative as they cannot be filed directly but they go the extra step to reach out to the courts and get the documents filed, or walk you through the process to get them through. They have been very beneficial for our practice.

I reached out to Swift Legal for process serving services, because my company uses their services. I needed a court filing and two parties to be served with documents. Serving each party was supposed to be $40 each ($80 total) as confirmed multiple times by email. Their website is a mess and gives a completely different total, but I checked in once more that it would be $40 each and they confirmed. They said to just place the order online and the total would be adjusted afterwards.

I did that and was shocked that instead of $80 for service, I was charged $279.70 and they then sent me “PAID” invoices with the original $40.00 “Service by Mail” fee, but they also added unauthorized fees of $83.75 for “Legal Document Set Up” and $16.10 for “Postage.” None of this was previously discussed with me. The total fee of $279.70 was even higher than what the website quoted, which was supposed to be adjusted down to $80. At no time during the process was I informed of Legal Document Set Up and Postage fees. I was reassured it would be just $40 each for service.

You cannot trust these people. I am fighting with them and my credit card to receive a reimbursement of $199.70 for the unauthorized charges. Swift Legal actually has the nerve to claim that this was authorized.

When I told Frank, the owner, that I would be challenging this with my credit card company, he offered to refunding just one of the charges for $83.75 “Legal Document Set Up”. Now he is pushing back with the credit card company and does not want to refund anything.

Very shady and dishonorable business.
