I scheduled a paid phone consultation for 7:30 AM, but the attorney never called. Instead, someone from the office reached out at about 8:05 AM to ask if I had received the call, which I had not. I requested a refund. Punctuality is important, and this experience raises concerns about reliability—especially for something as critical as a hearing.

My feedback: If the attorney was unable to make the call, someone from the office should have reached out in advance to inform me, rather than leaving me waiting. Respecting a client’s time is essential and reflects professionalism.

Update:Attorney House followed up and sincerely apologized for missing the call. I understand that things happen. That said, Dr. House provided clear and insightful legal advice regarding my situation. She was thorough, transparent about the process, and upfront about the fees required to move forward with my case. I appreciate her swift response and professionalism.

When I first called to get a consultation the lady I first spoke with was very respectful. She told me she would schedule me for one with another lady. The day of my consultation , Right off the back the lady just came off rude. Saying “Can you even afford a lawyer?” Keep in mind I never even got told the price so how could I know if I can afford it. I feel like that was very rude to ask someone & how she said it was very disrespectful. Just give me the price but don’t ask can you even afford one.. Also while I was saying my situation she stated “I need a lawyer because I don’t know what I’m doing” . How she came across was just wrong. You don’t speak to a customer this way.

Lastly if you want to get someone as a customer change how you speak to someone & also a little empathy.

After going back-and-forth, trying to get my divorce finalized on my own I gave up and decided to get an attorney to speed of the process. At first her office had missed my call. But her colleague returned the call Same day and Tess was able to use her magical powers to get me divorced the same day.
