After doing my tax returns for around six years, Tom Fucito fired me. I'm guessing he decided I wasn't a big enough fish for his growing practice. This is incredibly bad form. When you accept a client, you should stick with that client unless the client does something to justify being fired, which I did not. That's the bad news. The good news is, my new accountant found a mistake that Tom made on all my returns that should save me around $1,000 a year. When I informed Tom of the mistake via email, did he apologize for the oversight, which is the least he could do? No, he did not. He said nothing, which is also very bad form. Use him at your own risk.
