Alexander J. Puzone was referred as the guardian et litem to represent my child back in December 2023.

Because of his diligence, extensive knowledge of the legal system, and commitment towards representing what’s best for our child, he went above and absolutely beyond for almost the entire year to make sure everything from a structured parenting plan and clear communication between all parties, was all for the benefit of what’s best for our child.

Thank you so much, Mr. Puzone for all the hard work you put into our case. I will always be grateful for all that you have done, and I know every future case you handle is blessed to be done by you.

The Children’s Law Center of Connecticut is only going to further aid and strengthen separated households as one unit for the children <3 Remember, this isn’t about who’s right and who’s wrong - it’s about doing what’s right for your child!

After going through a bitter divorce with my ex wife for two years we didn’t come to an agreement as far as child care. The court had appointed Aisha as a GAL for my daughter. I wasn’t familiar with how a GAL works so I looked up some information online. Aisha made a home visit to my ex wife but never made one to mine. I expressed my concern about my daughter wanting more time with me but she just brushed it off. Just kept saying uh huh yea ok. The most coldest person I dealt with. I expressed how my daughter wanted more time with me. She just kept saying I could fight it in court but ultimately it was her decision. I definitely would not recommend this place or her. Seems like she was paid off additional money to make a decision without meeting with the other parent

I would have to agree with the negative reviews, Stay away from this place. This place only cares about the money. My GAL Aisha Roche has been in my case since (Dec 2020) and has done nothing for my case. I have called my GAL a few times and is horrible about getting back to me when leaving voicemails regarding issues currently ongoing. You can tell they are over worked with other cases. My GAL has had only 3 calls with me and my family. My GAL has never meet me in person to see how I am as a father. My GAL would already have recommendations for my case without researching what has happened currently and what has happen in my past with all the false allegations that were filed against me and at which were proven to be not true.

GAL Aisha Roche requested to remove herself from the case due to the fact that she couldn't get through to me, (I don't know how that can be when she never met me in person or my son for that matter.) 1 year this GAL Aisha Roche was on this case. The Judge on that given day allow her off the case without hearing any reasons on what's going on or given another GAL? Just very odd that no one wanted to see us prior to her removal from the case. Just one of a few reasons why I filed complaint against the GAL in the first place 6 months ago. I was trying to let someone know what's going on and I even had evidences on all this but still to this day haven't been able to show it. Still no resolution on this case and very weird how I still haven't made it into court to show my case. Again I cant say bad about all the staff members at the children law center, but Aisha Roche was not on point. This person will not help you. Your looking for trouble if you use her.

I highly recommend you don't use this place. Severely understaffed, grotesquely high case load= not enough individual time on each case and families suffer because of this fact. My Gal has over 40 cases she's looking after in a week.... how can you possibly give each case the do diligence it deserves.... you can't! Not possible. Sexist, biased! Her recommendation to the court was given only hearing one side of the story! The gal did not have any contact with my side of this sick twisted story at the time of her recommendation to the court! Pushed through, rushed just to get through the day!! On behalf of myself and my family and friends this place is a disgusting representation of truth honor and compassion!!! They have none!!! Tell the courts to use someone else because this place sucks!!!

One of the worst organizations in this state! Every individual that works for this organization is not licensed in anything that they portray in court. They also do not have a certification from the state to practice collection of samples for drug testing! They are very unsanitary and even joke about how they don't have to be cleanly well performing such illegal actions. If your case gets referred to this organization object immediately due to the unsafe and unlawful behavior of the individuals employed. They are currently under investigation by the board of health and by the bar association due to endangerment of many children. They are one-sided and they will not listen to the calls for help for the minor child and they brush off everything with reasons as if they are licensed in the state to be a therapist and or psychologist and base everything they bring to court on hearsay with no actual factual evidence or proof and even if you prove the allegations of hearsay wrong. They will fabricate, false and fake opinions. 😡😡

This office is a travesty it cares nothing about your children, it just wants to push as many as they can ($$$) through the system. Kids are purposely kept from the loving parent, and if you have any questions or complaints u will never be contacted calls never returned and ur concerns down played, this office should be shut down, run by privileged whites to serve the inner city poor. Children suffer from the decision these people make #shutitdown.
