Been trying to call them for my security clearance appeal and i just get passed around. Or “someone will get back with you” and nobody calls. It’s almost 2 years since my appeal and nothing. I’ve been researching and apparently appeals don’t take that long. The original lawyer assigned to me is no where to be contacted. What is going on? How long will it take like 10 years? ? if you guys didnt submit my appeal just say so and refund me my money. This is very stressful to just wait around waiting for an explanation. Yes you guys charge a flat rate fee but its also your responsibility to let your client know what’s happening. I dont know the people who left 5 stars here in this law firm are real or fake. I would not waste my money here BEWARE!

I hired the Edmunds Law Firm to appeal a proposed security clearance revocation. My initial meeting was in person with Mr. Edmunds. From that meeting I felt completely confident that he knew the process inside and out and would be able to help me.

The first attorney assigned to my case sent me a list of documents he would need to put together my appeal. The list of about 10 requested documents and letters wasn't overwhelming but I felt it was comprehensive enough to accurately depict who I am and defend my case. The list also contained documents that I would not have ever thought to include in the appeal, as this entire ordeal was new to me. When I was having some communication trouble with my assigned attorney, Mr. Edmunds got my case reassigned IMMEDIATELY and the new attorney and legal assistant finished my appeal packet within 48 hours of receiving it. They filed the appeal with my government agency on Dec 12, 2017 and I received notice on Jan 9, 2018 that my case had been favorable adjudicated. That's only 19 working days over a major holiday period!

Amazing work by this firm. I'm almost 100% sure I would have lost my appeal without their assistance. Plus I tend to worry so hiring Alan Edmunds and his firm was exactly what I needed to set my mind at ease from the onset and have my prayers ultimately answered. Thank you for a job well done.

Let me first say that anyone who has gone their clearance possibly being revoked will know how painful it can be. Just the thought of losing your livelihood, there are not many words to describe that feeling. I am already a worry wart, so having to deal with this made my worry and anxiety 100x worse. Like many of you, I read so many discussion boards and majority, if not all, advised a lawyer and/or hired a lawyer. I reached out to 2 other law firms prior to hiring The Edmunds Law Firm but the price tag was way too high. When I reached out to The Edmunds Law Firm, their approach when dealing with my response to the SOR was no different the other 2 law firms I contacted. The biggest difference was the price, literally half the cost that was a flat fee, no retainer!

I was a bit skeptical because of the huge price difference. But I thought long and hard so I hired the Edmunds Law Firm. And I am so glad I did. BEST MONEY I EVER SPENT!
Brittany was the attorney who assisted me. I had specific questions regarding my case and the military. And although Brittany was not too familiar with the military, she let me speak to another attorney, who had more experience with the military, I forgot his name. But he was extremely helpful and insightful as well. It was a pretty straight forward process, as I had to get all the required documents together and send to Brittany and her team. Once they received everything from me, they worked their magic on my response. Once it was completed, I reviewed the draft and it was sent off.
Of course you have your doubts, and what ifs, and just thoughts of not being reinstated. That will unfortunately come along with this process. But the response Brittany and her team wrote was really strong and I am so grateful to them!! My career has been saved and I cannot think Brittany and The Edmunds Law Firm enough for their professionalism, timeliness, and knowledge through this entire ordeal. I am writing this review to encourage anyone with clearance related issues to contact Mr. Edmunds and his team without delay. I waited until after replying to my first SOR before I contacted him. You are only delaying possible expedited resolution and possibly doing a huge disservice by waiting to contact his firm. I lost my Interim clearance, my job, as well as being booted out of a prestigious military school. Mr. Edmunds and his team were able to represent me and have my clearance reinstated. They have so much experience and the know exactly what to do. I lost so much when they took away my clearance, but because of Mr. Edmunds and his team of professionals, I now have my clearance and my life couldn’t be more promising.

I found the Edmunds law firm through an Internet search to help me with my security clearance, which had been denied after working for the government for more than 15 months. After speaking to them and my attorney Ryan Nerney, I felt confident that I would have a favorable outcome. I am quite grateful that I hired attorney Edmunds to represent me.
