Mary Kristen is the best! Without her and her team, I couldn't have made it through a very difficult divorce process. She's caring but tough when its needed. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome and so thankful to this firm for everything they did.

Do not use this company for custody cases. I met a lawyer my first visit broke everything down for her then never saw her again. Had a paralegal who barely kept in touch with us she tried her best then a week before court we finally met the lawyer assigned to us and he was great and worked to get to know everything but ultimately they dropped the ball and we had to settle out of court just to get this horrible experience over with. Paid 3000 deposit the first time I met the lady with a 250 for the appointment and now after paying on average 1200 a month for almost a year they are keeping my 3000 and making me pay an additional 1800 for settling out of court in one of the easiest co parenting 50/50 custody cases probably ever. It has been a sham and a humongous waste of time and a endless money pit. Save your money. Call someone else

Mary Kristen is a smart, kind, compassionate, trustworthy and hard working attorney. I’m so glad a friend recommended her to me. I went to MK at a very scary time in my life and did not know anything about legal matters, protection orders, divorce, child custody, etc… She was patient with me, explained options, procedures and all the things in a way that I was able to understand. Throughout the entire process, I felt like she had my back, was in my corner and was a strong advocate for me! If you find yourself in a position to need an attorney, I 100% recommend Mary Kristen!
Also, Kayla, her assistant, was helpful as well throughout my entire time with them. She was prompt to respond to emails and phone calls and was able to answer questions for me as well!

The amount of love and appreciation that I have for Mary Kristen, Kayla, and her entire team cannot even be put into words but I will try my best. For almost 3 years now I have worked with MK and Kayla and they have been there for me even when I didn't know I could be there for myself. Divorce, custody, child care, child support, motherhood, and all the things that are compiled together are stressful. These ladies helped me with every situation and helped me breathe better and the only reason I am able to move forward during such an awful time in my life. MK and Kayla are phenomenal friends that I will cherish for a lifetime. They were always there for me when I needed advice or had concerns or just needed some gal time and vent, they are welcoming and kind but also complete sharks when it comes to their clients best interests. I would recommend anyone to MK and her team!!! Love these ladies so much!

We contacted Mary Kristen almost 2 years ago to represent our son in a very complicated divorce/custody case. His now "ex-wife" had run off to another state with their daughter, and refused to give him any information as to her whereabouts or well-being. Mary Kristen not only guided us, but was able to obtain an emergency return of custody order to get our granddaughter returned to our son. After fighting a long jurisdiction issue, Mary Kristen was able to obtain not only the divorce our son sought, but he was also awarded full physical custody of his daughter. Mary Kristen maintained full command of every detail of our case. She took time to explain the law to us, and communicated every step of the way. She is caring and compassionate, but more importantly , she is in total control in the courtroom. She will be our family's attorney for life, but we also consider her a friend. I don’t have enough words to describe how wonderful Mary Kristen is! She listens and understands with compassion, but don’t let that fool you. In the courtroom, she’s down to business and even fierce when she needs to be!
MK defended me against my ex on false criminal charges he filed in order to get a leg up in civil court.
She then became my divorce attorney. Actually, I had an uncontested divorce, but custody became an intense issue a few years later. MK came to the rescue yet again by intricately and logically presenting my case. Then, she ruthlessly showed the fallacies and lies in my ex’s defense. Mary Kristen is definitely the lawyer you want on your side!
