If I could give it zero stars I would. I worked with Piasecki and Company (acquired by The Innovative CPA Group) for the past couple of years. After selling my business, they Piasecki Company and Innovative CPA Group went COMPLETELY dark on me. I NEVER received an explanation on my 2022 business and personal taxes after NUMEROUS calls, texts and emails requesting answers to my questions. I emailed EVERY person from Innovative and not even one response from them. Horrible customer service and they do not care about the individuals they are working with. I have since retained another CPA firm whom has stated that there were MANY mistakes made. I am in the process of filing a complaint with the Connecticut State Board of Accountancy. BE AWARE AND AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

I had my personal taxes prepared by Melillo and Mitchell for many years and loved them. Since they became part of the Innovative CPA group the timeliness and service was HORRIBLE. In addition to the horrible service and late filings I was informed that their fees will be going up. I was able to find another provider to do my taxes at half the price. So I do not recommend the Innovative CPA group at all for personal tax services.

Most importantly, not only did they stop me from having to pay back money to the IRS, they even recovered some taxes I overpaid!
