Jesse Langel, and his staff are amazing. I live in Texas, and I found out I had a judgment against me from a company in New York. I didn’t know what to do, I figured I would just have to pay. The company added on so many fee, and so much interest. To pay the full amount would have been devastating. I was at a loss. So I took a chance and called a lawyer from New York, it was not his field of law, and he referred me to the Langel Firm. I called right away, and I talked to someone very nice who set up an appointment to talk with Jesse. he talked to me, and said he could help. A weight was lifted off my shoulders. I have never had someone more on my side than Jesse. He kept me informed every step of the way. He was professional, and skilled in his craft. He did everything thing he said he would, and did it quickly, often working on Saturdays, holidays, and late nights. Jesse Langel & Firm were so understanding, patient and helpful in my case. I was being sued for an alleged credit card debt that was over 16 yrs ago. I truly did not have any recollection having such debt. I could have or I could have not. I had moved 3 times in the past 16 years. My employer got a notice of wages garnishment and truth be told I was scared. All these legal terms are like a foreign language to me. I got in touch with Jesse and staff after googling for lawyers that would be able to help me and stumbled upon Jesse Langel. They quickly moved into action and he also helped me put everything in "plain" English language for me. Most communication was done in email so I have proof and can go back into my emails if I miss anything. This was all resolved within 2 and a half months and as they say "we were victorious". One may think I'm nuts for posting a review about a service that has sensitivity to the identity of the defendant. Be assured, I am real and not a bot. Pay no attention to my vanity name no matter how much you really wish you secretly had the same name. So here it is, my review on the Langel Firm. Jesse Langel is not your ordinary lawyer. I never asked him, but I don't think he's from New York City. He's too chilled out. I'm guessing that he's from Dallas, or Jackson WY, Maui or Huntington Beach. You can imagine how wonderful he is to deal with. Empathy, compassion, kind, considerate, and gentle. All the qualities you need when your world is upside down. In my case, it was just one credit card. Having had experience dealing with American Distress, and their not-so-American Expressionless collections team from a far away place, I knew that this creditor wasn't going to play nice when times got rough. I neglected to read the 0.00000005 point font 200 page booklet of terms and conditions when we agreed to sign on the dotted line to use their card. Jesse explained how my case may all play out. So I went with it. Several months later, the settlement ended with the creditor trying to push my case to a blitzkrieg surprise judgment. They didn't even know I had my red button with Jesse's face on it. So I pressed it, and boom! the case was resolved faster than my yellow taxi driver who drove backwards up Broadway the other day. If nonAmerican Expressionless simply listened to my appeal from the first occurrence many moons ago, they would have saved a ton of money. I hope they continue to be terrible at listening to their customers so that Jesse can serve you. He's very pleasant to deal with, understands our pain, and resolved our case that ended up being much better than we expected. Thank you Jesse. My wife and I are grateful. You give us hope to New York again. There are still good lawyers remaining in the city. A+++++
