I was facing a felony hit and run charge. This was my first time getting in trouble and I was extremely lost on how to deal with the situation. He answered my distraught call on a Sunday morning and was incredibly helpful. Mark is a good listener and he made me feel comfortable in such a terrible moment. He was a prosecutor prior to becoming a defense attorney so not only is he pleasant to work with he is very knowledgeable. Being arrested at the end of last summer was the most stressful time I have had in a long time. I felt like there was no hope for me, my case, and that my life and career were over. Luckily I talked to Mark. Initially, I had the feeling that every lawyer was just going to try to sell me on their services, but not Mark. He took a pragmatic approach to my case and reviewed what my case would be like due to the circumstances of my arrest. He told me that if he didn't think I needed a Lawyer, he would let me know. I trusted him and he was right, I definitely needed him. Shortly after intake there was much added complexity that kept popping up throughout the preparation for trial. The case evolved -- like he said it would most likely do. Luckily, Mark was there with me every step of the way. I would not have kept my sanity without him, and eventually he got an amazing offer from the prosecution. If you find yourself in a bad situation I would strongly suggest speaking to Mark. If you make the right choice in hiring him -- my additional advice is to trust him with realistic expectations as he will go to bat for you and perform miracles. He will remind you that you are not alone in this -- even during the quiet part of the case.
