I went to Village Express recently to get a document notarized. Not to elaborate but the notary was rude, non- caring and just had a general attitude. My husband and I were appalled. We are both healthcare professionals and that behavior would never be tolerated. Before we left I asked "that's it, we are all set?" Her response was " I don't know, you tell me." I could only walk out shaking my head.

The attitude of the guy who signed me up and the difficulties getting my mail box set up are not worth it. I think the virtual mailbox is it's own system and that is ridiculously complicated for what it should be. Can't add a forwarding address on mobile. You can't get your mail in an email you must log in each time and never remembers my info and then requires one of those picture tests. Its always addressing me by my full legal name and can't edit. It's nothing horrible but too uptight for my liking and obviously the attitude didn't help facilitate my overall impression. I'm looking for something friendlier and user friendly.

Great service, attentive and prompt. I bought a painting at auction near there, and the Village Express folks picked it up, wrapped it, and shipped it to me out of state. They were on top of the details, and got it done faster and more efficiently than I could have hoped. I highly recommend them.

Village Express saved the day.

After three refunds and many trips to various stores, I found Village Express. No other store was able to take a picture for a UK passport that would successfully pass a government check. These guys did.

This will be the first negative review I've ever written, and if the service wasn't so bad, I would not bother. If I could leave zero stars, I would. I requested to have a passport application notarized for my son, and the notary used blue ink and stamped the document in an odd place on the paper, outside of the "place stamp here" and the application was rejected for both reasons. When I called the store to ask if they intended to charge me to do it properly a second time, the staff was rude, dismissive and took no accountability for her error. I am not a notary. It is not my responsibility to know that the document should be in black ink, but it is in her scope of practice to know what color ink to use. She had the audacity to say that I should have requested what color ink to use. Snarky and unprofessional. I found the shop staff to be rude, unethical, unaccountable, unprofessional and heed my warning, DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. This could have been easily fixable with a simple "I'm sorry, come back in and we will take care of it." But that is not the type of good business that they are. Please go take your important documents to another business. Using one word to describe their business, I would say they are incompetent.

Update: please see the response from the owner. Like I said, zero accountability, snarky, rude and unprofessional. Learn from my frustration and go to another business. Spread the word - this business shouldn't be open.

I went to a wedding in the area and forgot my jacket at the Hotel. Sadly they (the Hotel) did not contact me to inform me of the item left in the room. After investigating the item was tracked down. I was planning on going to pick it up but it was going to be hours and $50 plus in gas. They suggested Village Express. I contacted Village Express and they worked with me, they retrieved the jacket and also another item left in the room. The service was excellent, my phone interactions were great, and both of the people I spoke with were wonderful. The items were packed perfectly and sent back quickly. This saved me hours out of my day and cost much less than the gas money I would have spent driving back to the Hotel. Greatly appreciated...
