Been pulled off for inspection a few times and everytime every single officer has been respectful, courteous, and very informative as to what they were looking for. Obviously I didn't have anything, but I can't complain when all they're doing is their job. If someone gets pulled off for inspection and get an attitude with the officers working, expect them to be a bit more stern and cold. After all, treat others as you wanna be treated. Thank you to all the officers for doing your job. Keep getting all those traffickers off our streets.

50 miles from the Mexican border in a Wilderness Recreation Area harassing hikers and campers that are US citizens, rude for no reason to law abiding Americans going camping with their family, they should be ashamed of themselves

I've passed through here for many years without any problems. Typical delay time is 15 minutes but can vary from a couple of minutes to as much as an hour (my longest delay). I recommend lowering all your vehicle windows when you're one or two cars before going thru inspection. Officers appreciate getting a clear view of the car interior and its occupants. I usually get waved to proceed right on through without any further questions, and I've never been asked to go to a secondary inspection. Also, try to have your ID/passport, or docs in your hand ready to present. Officers rarely ask questions if you quickly show them your ID documents.

A little stop and some questions are a small price to pay to keep our communities safe! Thank you officers, for what you do to keep our country safe from human smugglers, traffickers, and drug contrabandists by enforcing the law to protect us.

Well, I generally would NOT like to have to drive thru a U.S. Border Patrol, however, I go to Brawley DMV every so often.
