Skip, don't apply. Run away fast.

Their website is unclear about eligibility--so after you apply, they will waste your time by saying you need to be available for a 4 hour block of time. After completing that, it takes a week for them to even attempt intake--at which point, your application is denied because they didn't cover income eligibility earlier in the process, or specify on the website.

I went to there free legal clinics after inwas terminated from a job. I got a lot of help and this is a really helpful service. I'm here again hopping to get help as my wage claim is being denied improperly I think!! I'm very grateful they have this service. I think in my future this is a great service and resource to have help!! Thank you!!

Great Service, I was facing Parental Alienation in my Family Law Case through denial of access and after using the text feature on the website for my City.. they called me back in less than an hour to take my application over the phone and I was even approved for over 1,600 in case credits in parties may attribute to retaining an Attourney after you have completed the $9 consultation process that was also done via virtual contact with Attorney and fees were waived!

I love this service and I’m happy I searched for advice!

They really need more help, I guess. I have been trying for months! To get on list. Attorneys are too expensive and the longer you wait to make a case the other has already won!

Frustrating, couldn't talk to anyone. What I needed help with is gone now, and I really needed their help. Their process is, let's say could be better, or at least let someone screen the calls, to determine urgency. They have you fill out and application on line, then wait for them to reach out to you, and if you don't answer their phone call they drop you and go to the next in line. Question if they don't leave a message or a call back # then how do you know they called and you can't respond back. Now you're skipped 🤦😔 oh, by the online was not faster. I lost what I was trying to save. I felt bullied, and helpless.

A little vague on what it's supposed to help you with. But an informative and helpful lawyer did call back and help me a lot. Now I've got good legal representation. But had it been a lawyer that didn't call back being helpful and informative, it'd be a total different story. I guess they just give you lawyers #s, when I thought they would represent, not give a #. But I'm happy either way.

Incredible help I received from Volunteer Legal Service . Was an incredible experience, full of stress and hope at the same time. The attorney who represented me for 3 months in a row, dealing with some new "bumps on the road" always gave me his time, care, knowledge and comfort; He is a wonderful Human being that I will have forever in my thoughts and remembrances of the journey we walk together.
