Temkin Law offers a thorough service. Wendi's calm and organized manner made it easier for us to follow the process through to the end. She answered my questions
clearly, until I totally understood the answer.
Wendi was very patient and took the time to understand our circumstances and
needs.
Often questions came up for me after our meetings. She was very timely with her responses to my questions. Wendi asked great questions, that got me thinking in different ways. For example, I used to think "that tree I'd like to buy to plant in the yard is kind of expensive." Now I think about it and say, "Do I want to plant the
tree and enjoy watching it grow or do I leave $200 more to one of the many
charities we have set up in our estate planning?"
Wendi gave us the option of having Temkin Law set up the changes that were
necessary to fund the trust we created, or we could do it ourselves with her
guidance. We chose to have her make most of the changes for us. She has
followed up on several occasions to see that all the transactions had been
successfully done. She also sent a letter advising what happens next and to
remind us how to add new assets to our trust.
Having gone through this process I feel confident that I am not leaving my
family with a mess to sort out. I have the comfort in knowing that my
future is planned to the best of our knowledge at this time in our lives and
that we will review our estate plan with Wendi every three years to
make any necessary changes.
We have recommended Wendi's services to many of our friends and family.

Although I knew it was ultimately important, it took me years to finally hire someone to write a trust and living will for me. In Wendi's capable hands, I was not only surprised by the relative ease of the whole project, but absolutely delighted by the the outcome. She gave me clear instructions with each of the three visits, and I walked out with a large, organized binder with everything I need to protect me and my children. She is extremely personable, professional, thorough, and organized. She helped me understand everything step by step, and made me feel comfortable along the way. The culmination of the project, was the thoughtful 'legacy' interview she taped and provided for me digitally. I actually believe my children will enjoy watching it some day! Wendi takes something that could be stressful and emotional and turns it
into an easy process that gives us peace of mind. Everything is very
organized and simple to follow. Receiving an asset spreadsheet with specific instructions on how to retitle everything into our trust was a huge help, and being able to videotape ourselves at this point in time was a really neat extra touch. Wendi is really friendly and approachable, and we feel that we've taken a hugely positive step in protecting our family's assets.
