Brandi Yosten is a very hard nosed attorney. After hiring her, it became apparent that she was more costly than other attorneys and wouldnt push for the things that I asked her to. She is relatively new to individual practice and I feel is more concerned about her reputation at this point than the needs of her clients. I could have gotten a much more experienced attorney for the price than I got with Ms. Yosten. I spent over $6k in a family law settlement and she repeatedly refused to file for temporary custody. Then I come to get a bill from her for another $4k and she never spent more than 15 minutes in a courtroom to represent me. I'm horribly let down by Brandi Yosten. If you want to feel belittled in your case and spend much more money than you should have, then choose her. Now I'll be fighting against her as I do not feel she the additional fees were warranted. Just more headaches when all I want is to be a father to my son.

My advice, go to a bigger city and get a more experienced attorney at a lower cost.

For example, she contacted opposing counsel on my behalf numerous times regarding a settlement but continually did not receive a reply. After getting fed up with being stonewalled, I CONTACTED OPPOSING COUNSEL MYSELF AND GOT A RESPONSE. After this, opposing counsel contacted Brandi Yosten which resulted in Brandi berating me through email for, ultimately, DOING HER JOB. I constantly was made to feel that her other clients were more important than me. If I could give less than a 1 star review, I would.
